Hellooo! It's been more than a month since my last update, and that's a sure sign that I've been up to something that has been keeping me very busy for the past few weeks. If you head over to my old Weebly website portfolio, you're going to be greeted with this kinda sad, but very exciting home screen:
Weebly has been an excellent place for me to begin my online portfolio. For a long time it gave me all the tools I needed and more to ramble about my latest ideas, post pictures of upcoming projects, and occasionally give updates about my car problems that never end. But recently I've realized that I need more control over my webspace, and a free service won't cut it for me. So I decided to make a big switch, and head over to Wordpress.
There are a ton of new features on my new page, I encourage you to check it out and see what's happening! I've been really focusing on developing a cohesive visual identity (I hesitate to say "brand" because it makes me feel like a package of chocolate milk or something), and I'm finally happy with the result. I call it the "does Ashley think she lives in a jungle?" theme.
However there is one big piece of the puzzle that is yet to be completed: the blog. It turns out it's not that easy to transfer 5 years worth of semi-conscious ramblings from one host to another. Because of this, I don't want to close down good ol' goodmutt.com just yet. But I will no longer be updating it! So if you want to see new posts from now on, head over to the new site, where I will slowly be building my archive back up in case you ever want to look back.
